Humble Students Get Thanksgiving Week Off In 2011

For the 2011-2012 school year, students in Humble are getting the entire week off for Thanksgiving, rather than the usual Wednesday-Thursday-Friday break. Former four-year Humble High letter-winner Brenea White is joining the University of Pittsburgh Panthers this Fall, according to an announcement made recently by Pitt head volleyball coach Toby Rens. The Huffman FFA Booster Club needs plenty of volunteers for their Skeet Shooting Fundraiser which takes place on Saturday, May 7. The event, which is happening at 17330 Ramsey Road in Crosby, begins at 8am.
