The Summer Symposium & Plant Sale Is Green and Great

The Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens are having a day-long workshop for anyone interested in plants that will flourish in Humble's tropical heat.

Get ready people!  Because green thumbs are contagious!  In a good way!

Humble’s own Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens are working with The Mercer Society to compose the sublime Summer Symposium & Plant Sale.

Taking place on Saturday, July 28th (8am-3pm), this is both a day-long workshop that focuses on plants that flourish in the tropical heat (E.G. the type of heat we’ve got here in Humble, and Houston for the matter), as well as advice on plant selection, and how to maximize your water during the outdoor months.

Suffice to say, if you have any interest in gardening, then this is the event for you!

There will be the immense Plant Sale, which is also wonderful for anyone interested in gardening here at your Humble apartments.

And if you’d just like to wander about the grounds of the Arboretum & Botanic Gardens, then you can certainly do that, as there are 300+ acres of great green grounds to trek about.

The Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens are located 15 minutes away from your Humble apartments.
